EMPOWER FAMILIES WITH PURPOSE TO RISE ABOVE POVERTY

INDIGENOUS LEADERSHIP, TRAINED AND EQUIPPED FOR program oversight

As a partner, Mission Partners India comes under the Church of South India, to work together in social outreach to the poorest of the poor, irrespective of cast or creed based upon income level.

This is done through education, empowerment, and multipurpose community halls.

Education

The schools we support educate children from different backgrounds from pre-school to 10th grade. Education provides children living in poverty, especially orphans, the opportunity for a bright and successful future.

EMPOWERMENT

Give-a-Cow

Village families living in poverty are able to live sustainable lives through the sale of milk from their cow. This provides for medical care, housing, and other basic needs.

Tailoring Program

Unemployed young women are trained in tailoring skills to provide self-sustaining income generation for their families. These women living in poverty are from different villages, different religious backgrounds, and caste backgrounds.

COMMUNITY HALLS

Multi-purpose community halls provide a place for villagers to meet, hold meetings, and gather. Meetings are held daily for women’s groups, sanitation and health awareness programs, or other community functions in villages.
